Jan Bednarek

Aston Villa manager Steven Gerrard is keen to bring in Polish centre-back Jan Bednarek of Southampton. One of the oldest and most successful clubs in England, from Aston, Birmingham, had their foundation in 1874. Also, being the founding member of the English League, the Villa has been the most consistent English club. They are the clubs with several English domestic silverware in their trophy room.

But, since their return to the Premier League in 2019, following a three-year absence. Furthermore, with the arrival of former Liverpool captain, Steven Gerrard things might change its course for the Villans. Villa finished 14th in the points table last season. And still, things have not much changed for the Steven Gerrard side. The Villans are still struggling to get back into their form. They are still trying to hang on above the relegation. Moreover, they had only won 1 match losing 3 matches in their opening 4 matches this season.

Looking at all these problems, Aston Villa manager Steven Gerrard is back in the transfer window. Gerrard wants to bring Jan Bednarek from Southampton. The English club from Southampton, Hampshire, founded in 1885 also wants to show their worth in the English Premier League. Although being as the founding members of the Premier League, the club’s trophy room is still quite spacious. The club surely wants to fill up their trophy room this season.
