Arsenal might have already made major investment this summer. But rumours indicate they have not yet completed reinforcing a team that will aim to contend for the Premier League championship. After securing three important stars in form of Declan Rice, Kai Havertz, and Jurrien Timber, speculation has since shifted to assert that Mikel Arteta and Edu will first sell a few players before they can buy again. Arsenal still has a list of players in their radar. Michael Olise, a playmaker for Crystal Palace, is available for just £35 million due to a release clause that hangs over him. If they want to start such a huge exodus, they must target him.
Arsenal looking forward to sign Michael Olise
Considering that he is only in early stages of his spectacular career, the calibre of the 21-year-old gem is astounding. He adapted from playing in the Championship to Premier League after moving from Reading to Selhurst Park. He humiliates defenders with the same ease with which he dribbles past opponents on a regular basis earlier. The French U21 international is creative and a wonderful winger. He had an impressive 12 goal contributions in all competitions during his first season in the top division. However that tally were easily matched by his most recent season, in which he only had 11 assists alone in the league along with 2 goals. Most importantly his work rate is too impressive. He ranks among the top 17% for tackles per 90, the top 14% for interceptions per 90, and the top 10% for blocks per 90,
It remains to be seen how things turn out, but his departure will negatively impact the Eagles squad moving ahead. If Crystal Palace is forced to part with his services, they will probably want a premium for him. Meanwhile, according to recent rumours, Chelsea made a verbal offer to sign him.
The playmaker likes playing in the Premier League very much. Hence he will probably have a big impact at Arsenal in the upcoming campaign. The move would be a fantastic chance for the player as well as an excellent signing for the Gunners. However the Gunners must be quick and faciliatate all the departures soon.
