Arsenal midfielder Thomas Partey is reportedly available for the game against Leicester City. Hence, the Gunners have strengthened their title challenge.

There is also the belief that Bukayo Saka is also available for the game. Hence, it looks like the Gunners will have almost all the players fit for the game.

ARSENAL COULD HAVE THOMAS PARTEY AVAILABLE FOR THE GAME AGAINST LEICESTER CITY

Arsenal midfielder Thomas Partey will reportedly play the game against Leicester City. The report also claims that Mikel Arteta is also hopeful about his return. However, they are in no rush to get him into the starting line-up immediately. There is also a chance that he will only start on bench for the Premier League game against Foxes.

Arsenal are in no hurry as Jorginho is also settling very quickly with the team. The Italian midfielder is also a fan favourite after the goal against Aston Villa. However, there is no doubt Thomas Partey is going to provide the team with more stability in the midfield. There are also times that the Gunners have not operated well in the midfield without him. Hence, they need him in the team.

THE GUNNERS ALSO NEED TO SEARCH FOR A BACKUP OPTION IN THE NEXT SUMMER TRANSFER WINDOW

According to reports, Arsenal want to sign Moises Caicedo and Declan Rice in the next summer transfer window. They are also linked with the likes of Sergej Milinkovic Savic. Hence, it is clear that the Gunners want to sign a midfielder that can operate the midfield with Thomas Partey. They are also looking for a midfielder that can operate the midfield well in absence of Thomas Partey.

Arsenal are currently too much dependent on Thomas Partey for the defensive midfielder role. Hence, in his absence, other teams find it easy to score. Mikel Arteta is also aware of the weakness. Hence, he signed Jorginho to solve the problem short-term. However, it is clear that Jorginho is not the long-term replacement for Thomas Partey.

Arsenal are also reportedly confident that Bukayo Saka is available for the game against Leicester City. This is after he suffered a number of minor knocks against Aston Villa. Therefore, now only Mohamed Elneny and Gabriel Jesus remain the absentees for the Gunners.
