Arsenal Introduce 17-Year-Old Mason Cotcher, Former Sunderland Forward

Arsenal

Arsenal’s youth academy made an interesting choice when they included 17-year-old Mason Cotcher in the u18 team for their match against Middlesbrough in the u18 Premier League Cup. Cotcher, who previously played for Sunderland, is yet to be officially confirmed as an Arsenal player, and it’s possible he’s currently undergoing a trial with the club.

Arsenal Surprise Introduction: Mason Cotcher

Mason Cotcher might be moving from his old team, Sunderland. He had a good season in 2022/23, scoring 10 goals in 19 games for Sunderland’s u-18 team; and even sat on the bench for the senior Sunderland team during an FA Cup game in January. He also played for England’s u-17 team during the international break.

But here’s the interesting part: Cotcher hasn’t played for Sunderland in the 2023/24 season, which makes us think he might be going to Arsenal. We’re not sure yet if he’s officially an Arsenal player. Right now, everyone is looking forward to his first game for Arsenal against Middlesbrough to see how he does.
