Arsenal have just opened talks with Ilkay Gundogan for deal this summer on a free transfer. Gundogan will become a free agent at the end of this month. The Champions League winner is keen on a new challenge. However, Barcelona looks set to be the favourites. Barcelona are ready to offer him a 3 year deal which secures his future as well. Arsenal are only ready to give him a 2 year deal. Whereas, City are only interested in a 1 year deal.

The outlet claims the Germany international has four options at his disposal when it comes to his future, with Arsenal being one of them. This month is the time for him to make a crucial decision. It depends on how he sees his future and family life.
The others are staying where he currently is with a renewal, going to Barcelona or Paris Saint-Germain. They could make a push for him if they appoint Julian Nagelsmann.
