Arsenal have decided their plan of action for the January transfer window. Moreover, the Gunners would be looking to sign a perfect striker. As per many reports and news outlets, Brentford star Ivan Toney is on their list. Toney has been linked with a move to the Emirates Stadium for a while now. However, there was no official confirmation regarding this transfer. But now there are reports coming up that Arsenal want to sign Toney in January. The 27 year old star striker will be attracting bids in January from other clubs as well. Chelsea would be another big club in his pursuit of the blues aren’t able to get Victor Osimhen in January. However, Toney is Arsenal’s top target in the January transfer window. But there’s one hindrance. As per some credible sources from Brentford, the club are expecting a significant sum for the striker.
According to mirroruk, Brentford will be expecting a huge amount for Ivan Toney. However, the question arises in the fact that which club is willing to pay a huge sum for him. Moreover, Toney was out of the game since the last season. Investing too much amount in a dormant player would be a risk that most of the team’s won’t take. Furthermore, Arsenal have a backup option too. They’re monitoring the situation of Bournemouth striker Dominic Solanke. The 26 year old striker has netted 9 goals in 17 appearances for his club so far this season. He could cost the Gunners somewhere in the range of £50 million and seems like an affordable option.
