Arsenal is at the top, but its manager Mikel Arteta needs to clear out things with Emile Smith Rowe. The London club is one of the immersible forces in the English Premier League. With 13 league titles, a record 14 FA Cups, 2 League Cups as well as 16 FA Community Shields in their trophy room. It is quite clear that Arsenal is one of the dominating clubs in the whole of Premier League history. And not only in England but also in Europe, by winning various European competitions.
Moreover, Arsenal were 5th in the points table last season. Winning only 22 matches and losing 13 matches last season. Not the kind of the Gunnars fan, players, and manager Mikel Arteta were expecting.
Furthermore, the Spanish manager Mikel Arteta brought numerous promising signings from the Summer Transfer Window. Bringing in Fabio Vieira, Matt Turner, Marquinhos, Gabriel Jesus as well as Oleksandr Zinchenko.
As a result, the Gunnars had a promising start to the new season. Winning 5 out of the opening 6 games. Only losing to Manchester United so far. Gunnars attacking line of Gabriel Jesus, Bukayo Saka, and Gabriel Martinelli combined with their captain Martin Odegaard have scored 10 goals so far this season.
But still, not everything is going right in Arsenal’s squad
Why is Arsenal’s young talent Emile Smith Rowe not happy with Mikel Arteta’s decision?
Meanwhile, another young attacker have been patiently waiting for his turn. But somehow the youngster’s tolerance timed out. And frustrated and unhappy with the lack of chances he got in Arsenal’s frontline.
The 22-years-old Emile Smith Rowe is an Englishman, who plays as an attacking midfielder or winger for the London club Arsenal. Englishman is a product of Arsenal’s youth academy. And began his senior career in 2018 for the Gunnars. Smith Rowe also went on loan to RB Leipzig and Huddersfield Town.
He has also been part of England’s national team. Emile Smith Rowe is a unique player with a lovely touch, very clever in possession, and full of energy.
But the Englishman only made his appearance for just 48 minutes for the Gunnars so far this season. The youngster is waiting for his shot in Arteta playing XI. But, things have gone worse for the Englishman. As Smith Rowe suffered an injury during warm-down after a 3-1 defeat at Old Trafford.
Alan Hutton on Emile Smith Rowe.
Former Aston Villa defender Alan Hutton did share his thought on the youngster Emile Smith Rowe at Football Insider.
He said,
“I think it’s been a difficult start to the season for him. I mean, he’s still a very young player, he came in and he was one of the reasons they did well last season, him and the likes of Saka really set it alight.
“With the players that are coming in, I don’t think he’s really had the game time that he was after. You can see just in his demeanour, he looks a little bit down, he’s not as happy as he was last season.
“Getting an injury at this point in time is not ideal, especially if you’re not a main player within that team. So it’s really about him recovering from this and getting back to where he was. We know he’s a great player but you have to show the manager that you can do it on a consistent basis.“
