The latest updates suggests that Arsenal are going to complete 2 deals before the end of this week. Declan Rice and Jurrien Timber deals will be sorted out. Arsenal will then move to other targets this summer. They want to be competing for the Champions League and the Premier League next season.

Rice, 24, looks set to become Mikel Arteta’s second signing of the summer transfer window. This is after the Gunners agreed a £105 million fee with West Ham.

The Gunners are keen on signing the Netherlands centre-back this summer. This is with The Athletic’s David Ornstein reporting last month that they had submitted an opening proposal of £30 million to sign him.
Ajax were said to want £50 million by Dutch outlet De Telegraaf. Although talks have advanced since then and the Daily Mail claim that both sides have reached a verbal agreement on a deal initially worth £40 million.
