Premier League fans will be not happy after the match was postponed between Arsenal and Manchester City.

Why was the match postponed?

The match between the two teams was to be played at Emirates this week on Wednesday. Arsenal sit top of the table with four points ahead of Man City.

The match between Arsenal and Man City is postponed because the gunners will play PSV in their Europa League game. Their match against PSV was to be played on September 15 but was postponed due to security purposes.

As the Metropolitan police were preparing for the funeral of Queen Elizabeth II.

The Gunners match against PSV is to be played on Oct 20 on Thursday. The club was informed to finish the Europa League group matches before Nov 3 or they will risk three points.

Football fans all over the world will have to wait for now to know whether Arsenal are a title contender.

If the match was not postponed Arsenal could have had the opportunity to be seven points clear of Man City.
