The agents of Folarin Balogun are causing mayhem over his valuation

Arsenal

Arsenal striker Folarin Balogun is attracting serious interests from clubs outside but his agents are trying to get his price tag down. Balogun is being valued at around £50million. But his agents are trying to get the price down to £40million. That is according to 90Min, who claim that Balogun is a wanted man this summer.

It’s stated that Inter Milan are set to begin talks with Balogun’s representatives. This is after scrapping a move for Romelu Lukaku.

Atalanta and Lille are also interested. But only if they sell Rasmus Hojlund and Jonathan David respectively.

One of the key problems for the interested clubs is that Arsenal’s asking price. Which is just so far beyond them.

Arsenal want £50million for Balogun. This is by believing he is worth big money after 21 goals in 37 league games on loan at Stade de Reims last season.

Folarin Balogun is “most certainly” on his way out

Whether Arsenal agree with Balogun’s representatives remains to be seen. But it may be best to sell the striker at this moment in time

Arsenal have spent massively on three major signings this summer. That is by landing Kai Havertz, Jurrien Timber and Declan Rice.

Balancing the books isn’t necessarily the right word. But selling some players would make sense for Arsenal now.

Granit Xhaka has left the club. And now we’re expecting to see the likes of Cedric Soares, Rob Holding, Nuno Tavares, Thomas Partey, Sambi Lokonga and Pepe move on.

Arsenal just don’t have room for Balogun. That is with Havertz joining Gabriel Jesus and Eddie Nketiah in the attacking ranks.

Selling up is the best move even if it stings a little. Now with Balogun potentially ready to become a star somewhere else.
