Liverpool are back with another season and something is fishy here this time.They are slowly and steadily making it clear that they are a very strong title contenders this season. Thier performance has surely send a sense of alarm among the other teams. Jurgen Klopp and his side are showing that they have learnt from the mistakes of the previous season. They are ready to get back to winning ways.
With 23 points in 10 games, the Reds are currently at the 4th place this season. To be more precise, they are just 3 points short of the table toppers, Tottenham Hotspurs. They are now becoming a serious problem for the title contenders. Be it Manchester City or Arsenal, all of them know what can the Anfield giants do.
Moreover, Jurgen Klopp and his men are the only team that has been giving serious problems to the last season treble winners, Manchester City.
Ian Wright comments on Liverpool’s performance, says that he feels that something is fishy here.
The former Arsenal man has admired Liverpool. He feels that they have been working a lot on their weaknesses after the last season and now it’s showing results. Moreover, he is surprised by the impressive performance of the team’s midfield despite some of the players playing in unfamiliar positions.
As per rousingthekop, Ian Wright has expressed his concerns for other teams as Liverpool are aiming for the title this time.
“Tottenham and Arsenal are getting so much attention for their performance. City as well. But people are leaving out Liverpool and I think that’s best for them. They can quietly work upon their targets.” – Ian Wright said.
