Sadio Mane will be shipped and Premier League clubs are interested

Dean Saunders has tipped Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal to sign current Bayern Munich player Sadio Mane this summer.

The former striker suggested that, if Mane were to join Arsenal, then ‘he might win you the league’. He said this as the club aims to go to the next level after making a return to the Champions League this season.

Last summer, Mane left Liverpool to join Bayern Munich for £35 million (Sky Sports). But it has gone very wrong for the 31-year-old. Saunders thinks ‘what a signing’ he would be for Arsenal, as he told talkSPORT.

Arsenal need to make the move for Sadio Mane if they are serious

But whilst other teams have been mentioned at possibly signing Mane this summer. Saunders decided to throw Arsenal’s name into the mix.

I have got one for you, he might win you (Arsenal) the league,” said Saunders. “Mane. What a signing would that be! He plays anywhere. He plays down the middle.”

David Ornstein believes Arsenal are favourites to sign Declan Rice. Arsenal have been chasing the midfielder for quite a long time. It is getting closer as each day passes by.

Speaking on the Five YouTube channel, David Ornstein shared the prevailing view within football about Rice. He says that the majority of the people in the game think that the West Ham midfielder will be targeted by the Gunners, and quickly.

With West Ham’s asking price set at an astronomical figure, this has all the hallmarks of being a transfer saga that rumbles on. They would like to get this deal done before pre-season. So that the players would be ready before the start of the season.

Arsenal were already looking to bolster their midfield so losing Xhaka will possibly mean two new arrivals in the engine department. West Ham star Declan Rice and Brighton ace Moises Caicedo are top of the shopping list. The rumours say that the deal will cost up to €80 million. Rice is keen on a move to a Champions League team. He dreams of winning the Premier League and the Champions League.
