Reece James had a great game against Serie A champions Milan in the Champions League. Ben Chilwell said Reece James is the strongest player at Chelsea. The right wing-back is getting a lot of praise not only from his teammates but also from the opposition players.
Reece James keeps shining for Chelsea
James, 22 is playing some of the best football so far in his young career. He is showing no sign of stopping. Gareth Southgate will look to start for England in the World Cup.
Chilwell said on Premier League YouTube,
” Reece is probably the strongest player in our team. Reece doesn’t really go the gym because he doesn’t need to .”
He added,
“he’d get too big.”
Not only as a defender James creates problems for the opposition while going forward helping the team in attack. Milan forward Rafael Leao said he is the toughest opponent he has faced so far. Not to forget the centre- back duo of Thiago Silva and Kalidou Koulibaly at Chelsea.
No wonder why Reece should be starting for England over Trent Alexander- Arnold because of his defensive abilities.
