Mauricio Pochettino told his friends that Boehly is getting angry at Graham Potter and that he would love to manage Chelsea.
The Argentine manager hasn’t managed a club since leaving PSG during the 2021-22 campaign. Pochettino was asked to leave the club after he got knocked out in the Champions League first in the semi-finals against Real Madrid and second Round of 16 against Real Madrid.
Pochettino has previously managed 2 Premier League clubs, Southampton and Tottenham Hotspur.
There were many Premier League teams who wanted to sign Pochettino as their manager. Clubs like Manchester United and Aston Villa at the end hired Erik Ten Hag and Steven Gerrard.
Pochettino decided on not to join Aston Villa as he “feared‘ the club’s players were not suited to his preferred style of play.”
Chelsea have already changed their manager this season from Thomas Tuchel to Graham Potter. The Englishman had a bright beginning to his time at Stamford Bridge, but prior to the World Cup break, they had lost their previous five Premier League games.
Newcastle United, Arsenal, Brighton, and Leeds United have beaten Chelsea. Chelsea was also knocked out by Manchester City in the Carabao Cup.
If Chelsea does not see a “significant improvement” in the new year, Potter’s job “will come under jeopardy.”

“I am still so young!”
“After Paris, we decide to wait until after the World Cup. Paris was a tough experience, a great experience, but tough, and you need to process every single thing.”
“I have a lot of respect for professionals and it’s hard for me to sell myself, that’s work for you. That routine that is generated when you are at work is created as a result of the adrenaline of day to day. You miss it.”
