Pochettino monitoring Mudryk at training session ahead of clash against Brentford.

Pochettino

Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino has been seen paying extra attention to one player ahead of clash against Brentford. He is none other than the ukraine international, Mykhailo Mudryk. Pochettino monitoring Mudryk was the main attraction for the paparazzi when the blues were having their training session.

Mudryk is arguably the most impressive forward for the Argentine coach this season. And it seems that the coach is on a mission to make the best out of the youngster this season.

When the season started, Mudryk was mostly on the bench. But his late performances have made it difficult for the coach to bench him in upcoming games for the blues.

The efforts that the player has been putting have finally rewarded him in his last 2 starts, one of them being the match in which his scored against Arsenal. He has clearly shown signs of improvement and that he can perform at higher level. His goal against Arsenal has given him the much needed confidence required to fuel his future performances.

Pochettino monitoring Mudryk: Explained.

As per thechelseachronicle, the Argentine coach has laid clear instructions to the Ukraine international. He expects the same performance from him as he has been performing since the previous few matches. The coach wants the player to become one of the best in his position in the league.

The team was impressive against Arsenal and many of us think that it needs no change. However, it is quite understandable that the manager wants to bring in Nicolas Jackson in the starting lineup.

Moreover, we can expect Mudryk to start at the left wing in place of Raheem Sterling, who was also impressive against Arsenal. But we can also see both Sterling and Mudryk start on Saturday as the coach might prefer experience that Sterling brings to the team.
