Arsenal or Tottenham: What’s next for N’golo Kante?
The former Leicester City player has struggled so far this season. He has played two games for the blues and has been ruled out due to injuries. Kante will like to put his injuries behind him and start again with new manager Graham Potter. The question is will he play for the blues next season?
Mikel Arteta will be keen to bring the midfielder to the Emirates Stadium. Arsenal has had a good start in the league this season and will be looking to reinforce more players.
Bent speaking to Talk sport,
“He’s missed an awful lot of football. He was incredibly durable but since the start of 2020, I think he has missed like 40+ games. That’s a lot of football, but listen, we’re still talking about one of the greats, one of the absolute greats.”
He added,
“Even at 31 years old, he’s on a free at the end of this season, I would take him. “I don’t think it would ever happen because for what Arteta’s trying to build, Kante is too old. But look at what he can give you, not as a starter, but someone who’s just in and about the squad. Imagine him and Partey…he is fantastic, he’ll go down as one of the absolute greats.
“If Kante is on a free at the end of this season, there will be top teams around the world that will still be queuing up for his signature.”
Arsenal will need a player like N’golo Kante if they finish in the top 4 for Champions League next season.
