Arsenal have started their premier league campaign impressively. They are undefeated in 10 games and sit on the 2nd spot. They are easily going to be the table toppers, if they are going to play the same way as they’re playing now. However, there are some weak spots in Mikel Arteta’s squad. As per the reports, a new addition is arriving to the team’s forward line anytime soon.
The gunners desperately need a prolific goalscoring forward. Moreover, after injury of Gabriel Jesus, it’s becoming club’s topmost priority now. Eddie nketiah scoring a hat-trick against Sheffield United, is in form right now. However, the manager is aiming to add Pedro Neto as a potential backup for Bukayo Saka. They need a habitual scorer as a strong striking option for the team.
The most suitable option for the gunners at this point is Brentford star, Ivan Toney. The 27 year old English striker is currently serving the ban for allegedly being involved in gambling. He is returning to pitch on January 17th. Ivan Toney is probably one of the most underrated strikers in the league at the moment. Moreover, his ban has took away all the attention from him. If he comes to Arsenal and gets back in his goalscoring form, he’s going to be one of the best in his position.

According to footballfancast, Ivan Toney is attracting intrests from both Chelsea and Arsenal before the transfer window. That’s quite reasonable as well because both the clubs need a proper number 9 for their team.
As the rumors have it, Toney is preparing to leave as his representatives are having negotiations with both Arsenal and Chelsea. The striker has scored 20 goals last season. If he completes his move to the Emirates Stadium, it’ll be interesting to see how he fits in Mikel Arteta’s style.
