Mykhailo Mudryk compares his national teammate to Zinedine Zidane.

Zinedine Zidane

Mykhailo Mudryk and Oleksandr Zinchenko are the two most promising talents for the Ukrainian national team. Both are them okay as rivals in the Premier league. While Mudryk is having a better season at Chelsea this time, Zinchenko hasn’t had his best of days in this campaign. Moreover, the latter is being replaced by the Japanese international Takehiro Tomiyasu. Recently, Arsenal played against Sevilla in the Champions League group stage. The gunners defeated the Spanish giants 2-0 to further strengthen their position of going into the next round. Oleksandr Zinchenko came up in the 46th minute to replace Tomiyasu. In the second half, Zinchenko hit an amazing volley from the edge of the box.But the goalkeeper saved the shot. However, reacting to this attempt, Mykhailo Mudryk compares the Arsenal star to French legend Zinedine Zidane.

The arsenal left back posted a picture of himself attempting the volley on Instagram. Mudryk commented on this post, “Zizou?”. The Chelsea attacker has appreciated his fellow countryman’s volley. He’s compared the volley to Zidane’s iconic champions league final goal against Bayern Leverkusen back in 2002.

Mykhailo Mudryk compares his teammate out of appreciation.

According to tbrfootball, Zinchenko had a good game against Sevilla since coming on. He controlled the game and made some chances in the final third. Moreover, almost playing the entire second half would increase his confidence as he’s having less playing time. Takehiro Tomiyasu is starting for the team since last two matches. Zinchenko has grabbed the opportunity against Sevilla and it was worth watching. Furthermore, the manager can trust the player in upcoming matches after this performance.

Zinchenko has been an important part of the team last season. He can get back his lost place in the team if he keeps stepping up in matches like this. Moreover, the experience he has would only help him to handle pressure in situations where you’re overwhelmed after making a comeback to the team.
