Mikel Arteta is setting academy triumph before the encounter at Anfield

Mikel Arteta

Prior of Arsenal’s Premier League matchup with Liverpool on Saturday manager Mikel Arteta has been running his team through their paces.

As of right now, third-place Aston Villa and table-topping Arsenal are separated by just one point. They might overtake each other when they play on Friday night.

And on Friday, Images provided by Arsenal’s media staff, show that one of Hale End’s best players was once again present at the Colney practice.

And he is none other than Myles Lewis-Skelly.

Is Mikel Arteta setting Myles Lewis-Skelly for something big ?

The seventeen-year-old midfielder has been a frequent fixture in Arsenal training sessions. And he has made significant contributions for the Gunners Under-21 squad.

Lewis-Skelly has played in 12 youth matches this season. He was on the bench against Brighton last time out and against Nice in the Champions League.

In an April interview with The Athletic, Jack Wilshere, the youth coach for Arsenal, showered the young player with plaudits, calling him a “top kid.”

It’s wonderful to see Arteta still spending time training the younger athletes with the  adults.

This implies that he’s holding his own and  possibly. And also he is  getting used to the players and environments he’ll be playing with in the upcoming years.

Although Lewis-Skelly hasn’t made his senior debut for Arsenal yet. It won’t be long until Arteta decides to start playing him. Either in the FA Cup or the league as the season draws to a close.

Although in the ocean injuries, they obviously need an excellent young trump who can break through for them. May it will be Lewis.
