Manchester United weighing the possibility of offering Cristiano Ronaldo to Napoli as a part of Victor Osimhen deal in the window.
The Red Devils are keen to add the services of a striker before the transfer window concludes for the season. Moreover, United have a couple of names on the list in order to make a swoop this summer.
Victor Osimhen has been identified as a prolific striker who can fit well in the United squad at Old Trafford. Moreover, United are considering adding Ronaldo as part of the swap deal in order to land Osimhen to the club.
Manchester United want a swap deal
It is no secret that the United No. 7 wants a move away from the Theatre of dreams this summer. The Red Devils are looking for a possibility of offering the striker on a like-for-like swap deal for a possible move.
Osimhen was previously linked with a move to Arsenal earlier in the transfer window this summer. However, the striker came out and cleared the air regarding a possible move to the North London club.
He said-
“I’m in Napoli. And I have great respect for my club,”
“They are just rumours of the market. I’m fine here and I’ve never had such close relationships with everyone as at this moment.
“I spoke to the president, he is the one who decides, and he reassured me by explaining the club’s plans. And I am happy with what he told me and the purchases are of quality: words were followed by deeds.
So, I am very happy to play with Napoli and we will see in the future.”
Moreover, United are still pursuing Antony and are willing to make a bid to Ajax to land the player. It will be interesting to see if the Red Devils push for a move for Osimhen if they land Antony.
