Manchester City legend Sergio Aguero has backed the club to win the Premier League title. Hence, he also backs them to win the title Arsenal.
He has also praised the management skills of Gunners manager Mikel Arteta. However, he has also said that it is in the DNA of Pep Guardiola to win titles.

According to Sergio Aguero, Manchester City are still in the race to win the Premier League title this season. The Citizens are currently eight points behind leaders Arsenal. However, they have played one game less than the Gunners. Sergio Aguero has also said that the experience of the previous trophy wins tilts the odds in the Citizen’s favour.
The Manchester City legendary forward further said, “This is proving to be quite a title race,” said Aguero. “Arsenal are very consistent – I know Mikel Arteta and I respect his expertise. He knows how to make his team perform, and to better utilise the young, hungry players in his squad. “We are keeping up the pace, though and are hot on their heels. But we also know, from tried and tested experience, that it isn’t over until it’s over. One thing is certain, City will fight until the end. It’s in our DNA.
FANS WOULD HAVE LOVED TO SEE SERGIO AGUERO AND ERLING HAALAND PLAY TOGETHER
Manchester City star forward Erling Haaland has scored 42 goals this season. Hence, the fans would have loved Sergio Aguero and Erling Haaland playing together. They both would have certainly scored enough goals to win them the Premier League title this season. However, fate had other plans, Haaland keeps scoring goals. Whereas, Sergio Aguero had to prematurely retire because of a heart condition.
Hence, Manchester City honoured his stint at the club with the statue of the player. The fans also still remember him for his title winning goal against QPR in the final seconds. Hence, there is no doubt Erling Haaland has to win trophies with the club to prove his legacy. A report also claims that the club will offer him an improved contract with the club.
However, the main target for Manchester at the moment is to compete with Arsenal for the Premier League title. They need to win all the Premier League games to have the best chance possible. Whereas, they also have to manage the FA Cup and Champions League.
