Malo Gusto got a nice surprise in this international break. He was called up to the French national team for the maiden time. He was drafted in to replace an injury, but he will be very excited to get his first experience in the senior squad. However, when asked about his idol, Malo Gusto calls Chelsea team mate as one of the greatest of all times.
Gusto has been a great addition to Chelsea’s squad this summer. He came in to provide serious competition to Reece James. He has already played the majority of Chelsea’s games this season with James once again being injured. However, he knows that he will have plenty more chances to shine in the upcoming seasons that he’ll play for the club.
He’s one of the members in Chelsea’s back four alongside legend of the game Thiago Silva. However, Gusto has named him as one of the greatest defenders in the world in his latest words whilst out on international duty with France.
Malo Gusto calls Chelsea player one of the greats:
Thiago Silva is one of the veterans and experienced full back. He’s been into this for years and is one of the best full backs currently despite reaching at an age of 38. He has excelled in every place he has played, be it PSG or Chelsea or the Brazilian national team. In all the teams he has captained for a long tenure also.
Gusto says that Thiago Silva inspires him a lot on the field.
On Silva, Gusto tells RMC Sport:
“He’s one of the greatest defenders in the world. He’s always on top, focused on what he’s doing. To see that he’s still at his best, it’s something that’s beautiful and inspires me a lot.”
