Liverpool willing to sign Chelsea’s so called ‘outstanding’ midfielder

Chelsea could now reportedly sell Conor Gallagher in the January transfer window. However, Liverpool is keen on signing the midfielder.

The England international has been one small glimmer of light for the Blues this season. However, this has already been a disastrous campaign for Mauricio Pochettino’s side.

Languishing 12th place in the Premier League, the west London have endured a total collapse. However , that hasn’t stopped clubs from keeping tabs on Gallagher, including Liverpool according to reports.

And now, according to the Daily Mail, Chelsea are now considering selling the 23-year-old midfielder. However, a potential sale is being used to increase funds to sign a world-class striker.

Lauded as ‘outstanding’ by Gareth Southgate, Chelsea selling arguably one of their best players this season would line up with the madness and chaos that has been the Todd Boehly Era at the club.

However, for Liverpool, a chance to sign Gallagher could be too good to turn down. Moreover, the midfielder is exactly the sort of player the Reds should be looking to bring in in January.

Liverpool have to jump at the chance to sign Conor Gallagher

Chelsea are under a massive mess over the last 12 months. Yet as enjoyable as the collapse has been, some players like Gallagher clearly deserve better than what they’re currently being offered.

And Liverpool could now give Gallagher a lifeline to leave west London. Moreover they’ll give him the ability to restart his career at Anfield, a place where the midfielder could flourish.

Indeed, Gallagher has shown he is more than capable of flourishing in the Premier League, with the midfielder capable of so much more than he is right now.

And Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool could be the answer, with Gallagher a player who could really suit the Reds’ style of play if a deal can reached with Chelsea.
