Kante made his arrival to the London side Chelsea in the 2016 – 2017 season. And helping them to lift their 6th league title. He has also been Chelsea’s prime defensive midfield option for all the managers.
Kante is a dynamic, disciplined player with excellent ball-winning abilities, and a strong positional sense to read the game. The Frenchmen is known for his tactical awareness, anticipation, and intelligence. He is also a prominent example, of how to tackle, regain possession, intercept passes, and block shots. The little Frenchmen is an amazing playmaker.
But in 6 seasons, the Frenchmen only made 185 appearances for the club, while scoring 11 goals. Chelsea’s star midfielder shares the sideline due to his unpredictable injuries. Moreover, Kante was absent for 3,000 minutes, that is almost 33 matches for the London side. He had a great impact on Chelsea’s winning rate. “He is our key, key, key player but the key, key players need to be on the pitch and he plays only 40% of the games. He is our Mo Salah, is our Virgil van Dijk, is our Kevin De Bruyne, is simply that player: our Neymar or Kylian Mbappe.”
Tuchel also added,
“A guy like N’Golo, with the mentality of a helper, a water carrier, makes the difference and big teams and successful teams need this. That’s why we love him so much, and everybody wants to play with him and why we miss him so much when he is not there.”
Regarding his injuries, the German manager Thomas Tuchel accepted Kante’s condition. And said,
“But on the table of course is his age, his salary, and his injury rate. From there you build a whole picture and try to find a solution.”
