Manchester United will be going to take on the Arsenal at the Emirates stadium on Sunday . It will be their last game before the international break.
The last matchday was a thriller for the Reds, they had secured a 3-2 victory over Nottingham Forest. After being down from two goals , the Reds secured their victory when Club Captain put the ball at the back of the net at very last moment from the penalty spot.
Manchester United have won two games and lost one at the opening session in 2023-24. And football pundit Gary Nevil has warned them before going to face Arteta’s lads at the Emirates.
Arsenal are yet to loose a single game in this season. They played three games and won two of them. They almost won their last game against Fulham but the late equalizer from Fulham forced them to settle with 1 point .
Analysis of the game
On the Gary Nevel podcast the Sky Sports Pundit said
“I would expect next week that Mikel Arteta is going to end that experiment and that he is going to probably go with a solid back-four with four defenders.”
He further added “
Maybe move (Thomas) Partey into midfield along with (Declan)Rice and maybe (Martin) Odegaard. Manchester United are decent on the counterattack. It is a big test for United because their performances this season so far, all three of them have been below par, and I think if you are below par at the Emirates, you are going to get beaten. So, United are going to have to rise and raise the game.”
Arsenal will surely give them a tough challenge. The gunners most probably will play with their full strength, their full squad. Mikel will not like to drop any points from their home match. They have been playing well in this season. Manchester United is a solid team , but let’s see what the Gunners have planned to do against the Red Devils.
On the other hand Manchester United is not in a great form. They have won two matches in this season against Wolves and Forest but their performance is not very satisfying. But Rasmus Hojlund could be available for the trip to Emirates as this will be a great advantage for Ten Hag. The young boy is not tested in the Premier League. It will be really interesting to see what impact do he create in the team.
