The FPL GW 8 was a very good week with the Football Express Team managing to get 74 points. While the average is 49 points for GW 8.
Captaining the Egyptian King Mo Salah paid off as he has been constantly scoring and grabbing assists week in and week out.
FPL managers are now like if you are unable to decide captain go with Mo Salah. However, despite being in such an amazing form it looks only 64.8 % of the FPL managers have him in their team.
Not having Salah in the team looks like suicide as he is punishing the FPL managers who are not having him constantly hurting their overall ranking.
FPL 2021-22: GW 9 Analysis
The main concern for many of the FPL managers will be the injury of Romelu Lukaku. Moreover, the main concern for FPL managers will be to find a suitable replacement. Lukaku got injured in the Champions League game against Malmo and there is no update on his return.
Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel also has confirmed that both the forwards Werner and Lukaku will miss the game against Norwich.
Potential Replacements in case you have Lukaku:
Jamie Vardy: The Foxes forward has been in amazing form from the start of the season and has always been a great asset for the FPL managers.
Ivan Toney: Toney record goalscorer in the Championship for Brentford is yet to set the Premier League on fire and the upcoming run of fixtures looks like he might finally set it on fire.
Kelechi Ihenacho: The former Manchester City forward ended the season on a high note. But still was dropped for the 2021-22 season by the Leicester Boss. Which came as a shock to many fans he has been again called into the playing XI. Looks like he is forming a deadly partnership with Vardy. It will also be indeed wonderful to have them both for FPL managers.
Teemu Pukki: This might come as surprise to many FPL managers but Pukki has an amazing run of fixtures after the game against Chelsea. Pukki is on penalty duties and Norwich also has many players returning from injuries. So these run of fixtures Norwich might be able to use it to get out of the relegation zone. The key man in their attack is Pukki.
Team Locked in For GW 9:
For the GW 9 of FPL 2021-22 season, the best option to replace Lukaku looks Pukki due to his good run of fixtures. Also getting Pukki will free up the funds to get Spurs attackers as Son and Kane also look like they are going to get back on track.
Son is already been providing decent attacking returns while Kane is just coming in. And looks like he also will be starting to get back on form. It is better to get him early else many others will also jump in to have him later and you could lose a good differential.
