Arsenal

According to reports, FC Toulouse winger Farès Chaïbi (20) has verbally agreed personal terms to join Bundesliga side Eintracht Frankfurt.

Farès Chaïbi has blossomed in his first season in Ligue 1. The Algerian international has eight goals and six assists in 33 games in all competitions for Toulouse this season, following the club’s promotion from Ligue 2 last campaign. That form has not gone unnoticed.

The Toulouse Academy graduate has attracted interest from across Europe. Foot Mercato have previously reported interest from Arsenal and Sevilla. Frankfurt have now verbally agreed on personal terms with Chaïbi, however, Toulouse’s financial demands threaten to derail the deal.

Toulouse’s demands have led to Frankfurt exploring other options, including Zeki Amdouni,

A 22-year-old Swiss international, who currently plays for FC Basel. However, the player is under contract at Lausanne, a partner club of Ligue 1 side OGC Nice.

Like Chaïbi, Amdouni is also courted by many clubs across Europe.

The 20-year-old only signed his first professional contract in February, before making his debut against OGC Nice in August.

And, already, the young star has established himself as a key player for Toulouse in his maiden campaign, with three goals and four assists from his 16 matches. Head coach Philippe Montanier is impress with the academy graduate.
