About Football Express UK

Curtis Jones has only made 12 appearances for a total of 324 minutes this season. Elliott has continued to be the only Liverpool player to play in every game.

The No. 17 has struggled with injuries and recently joined Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Fabio Carvalho on a revolving substitute bench.

Curtis Jones has made just two starts so far this year. But Lee Carsley has selected him for his 26-man squad for the forthcoming international break despite his little playing time.

In order to be ready for the U21 European Championship this summer, which Elliott and Curtis Jones aim to attend. The Young Lions play France on March 25 and Croatia on March 28.

Curtis Jones, who was born on or after January 1, 2000, and who is currently 22 years old, is still qualified to compete in the forthcoming competition.

Fans frequently want to see their senior players.. Given as much downtime as possible during the international break, but Jones is doing the opposite.

The two friendly against England could be a priceless opportunity for Curtis Jones to get minutes in his legs before the season’s remaining 12 games, considering that he only played 55 minutes in 2023, five of them coming off the bench.

With Stefan Bajcetic now gone for the remainder of the season. And injuries always a possibility in the middle of the field, Jones might use a boost to finish the season well.

But, Oliver Skipp (Tottenham), Jacob Ramsey (Aston Villa), Angel Gomes (Lille), and Carsley (Tottenham) are options for Jones and Elliott in the England U21s midfield.
