Club legend warns Chelsea to not sell the outstanding player and makes the KBD mistake again

Chelsea
Pat Nevin has high hopes with Mykhailo Mudryk as he wants Chelsea should give him some time.

Two of the top players in the Premier League, Kevin De Bruyne and Mohamed Salah, were formerly on Chelsea’s roster.

Although their tenure was short as it was one of the massive faults of football history.

Additionally, Pat Nevin has asked his old club to provide more tolerance to one of its current stars than what they afforded to the likes of De Bruyne and Salah in the past.

Due to an injury, De Bruyne missed the first part of the season, but Salah has been brilliant this year. Twenty Premier League games later, the Egyptian has tallied fourteen goals.

Pat Nevin is optimistic about Mykhailo Mudryk

With high expectations for thesaid2ng Ukrainian, Nevin does not want Chelsea to make the same error they did with De Bruyne with Mykhailo Mudryk.

On Mudryk, the Chelsea legend said:

“I have great hopes for Mudryk. Remember, Arsenal wanted him, other teams wanted him. Remember, we did have De Bruyne, we did have Mo Salah. It wasn’t working for them. It sometimes takes some players that little bit longer than others.”

That would be a gross exaggeration to say that Mudryk’s time at Chelsea has not always gone as planned. The 22-year-old has occasionally had a lot of difficulty.

For instance, Mudryk did not score a goal in blue after joining from Shakhtar Donetsk in the previous campaign.

Although he has scored four goals in all competitions this season, including one against Arsenal. He has progressed and has the tools to develop into one of the best wingers in the future.

There are moments when his pace is downright terrifying. Chelsea may have a wide player in Mudryk in the future if he can start combining that with goals.

So far they shouldn’t lose up on the Ukraine international so fast, unlike with De Bruyne.
