Chelsea’s training session ahead of their clash against Brighton has some positivity for the fans. The blues have one more training session left before their crucial match against Brighton. Moreover, the blues needs to get the better of the seagulls if they want a better start to the second half of the season. Chelsea are looking to bounce back from the loss against Newcastle United. However, it won’t be easy for Mauricio Pochettino and his men. Thier opponents are full of confidence after getting all the 3 points in the Europa league match against AEK Athens. Furthermore, the blues would be in immense pressure of winning the match in front of the home fans.

As per footballlondon, in the latest training session, there’s some kind of positive news for the Chelsea fans. The Frenchman Christopher Nkunku was on the training ground with the team. Moreover, he was training freely. That could be an indication of his possible debut against Brighton. Romeo Lavia was also seen training. The Belgian could also feature against Brighton. However, there’s no official statement from the club regarding their debut in the upcoming match. It’ll only be visible on the matchday that if these 2 players are playing or not.

Chelsea’s training session : Manager’s take

Head coach Mauricio Pochettino was questioned about the possibility of Christopher Nkunku and Romeo Lavia making their debut against Brighton. He didn’t gave a confirmation though.

” We have one more session before the match. We will assess these players then decide what is to be done. To be honest, Lavia’s return seems a bit skeptical. Speaking about Nkunku, we have tomorrow to decide.” – Mauricio Pochettino said.

If we go according to the coach’s statement, there’s a high probability that the Frenchman will make his debut against Brighton. However, we can’t fully predict what’s gonna happen as it completely depends on the player and the coach to decide about this matter. Moreover, even if these 2 players don’t get their debut tomorrow, they’ll get extra time to recover and work on their strengths and weaknesses.
