According to the Evening Standard, Reece James, Benoit Badiashile and Trevoh Chalobah are all expected to be back from injury very soon.

Though James has played only a single game this season, the other two are yet to start a one.

Chelsea’s injuries against Arsenal is quite a nightmare for the Stamford Bridge as they’ll face a roaring in form Arsenal who have just settled new records by beating Manchester City.

James likely to start:

If James, Badiashile and Chalobah are all fit enough to play against Arsenal, then hopefully the Chelsea captain will be the only one out of the trio to start the game.

The England international is the captain of the club captain. Moreover, he is such an influential right back so he should be be in the starting lineup of the match.

The case is a bit different for Badiashile and Chalobah, though. They currently have a bit of competition in front of them with the in the form of Thiago Silva and Axel Disasi, while Levi Colwill’s natural position is also in central defence. However, he’s adjusting well as a left back also. But Chelsea’s injuries is still a key concern for Pochettino.

Chelsea have missed having a player of James’ ability on the pitch. The one game he played in, the 1-1 draw with Liverpool at the start of the season, the 23-year-old made two key passes. Only Dominik Szoboszlai (three) made more in the match.

Despite being a right-back, the English star just brings so much potential to this Chelsea team going forward.
