Chelsea want the Italian defender Alessandro Buongiorno in their squad. The blues want to strengthen their defence in the January transfer window. Moreover, they need a young centre back so that the player can be brought in as a long term investment. The club has brought players like Benoit Badiashile and Axel Disasi this season. However, none of them has been able to perform well at their debut season. Therefore, the club needs an established young players that they can invest on. Given the fact that Thiago Silva is 39 years old, Chelsea need to find his replacement as soon as possible. And as per the reports, Alessandro Buongiorno is the most suitable target for Chelsea in the upcoming transfer window.

According to caughtoffside, Chelsea are the only team that have shown the most intrest in the 24 year old Torino defender. The player’s price can be somewhere around €35 million and Chelsea can afford to get him if they’re determined enough. Moreover, the blues should make this transfer as soon as possible as there are reports suggesting that Juventus and Inter Milan have also shown intrest in the defender. Boungiorno has been an impressive player for Torino this season. Because of this, he’s attracting intrests from club’s all over Europe.

The only reliable player in the defensive unit as of now is Thiago Silva. However, the Brazilian is already 39 years old and this may be his last season at the Stamford Bridge. The club needs to find his replacement and Alessandro Buongiorno seems like a perfect fit for them.
