Chelsea might not be making a move for Dybala as per recent reports

Paulo Dybala

There seems to be a change in the situation for Paulo Dybala, as per the latest information from Fabrizio Romano. Despite earlier transfer rumors connecting him with Chelsea, it now appears that Dybala is more likely to remain at Roma.

Paulo Dybala, the Argentina international, has enjoyed a successful career in Serie A with Juventus, Roma, and Palermo. While the prospect of seeing him challenge himself in the Premier League for Chelsea is intriguing, it appears that such a move is not imminent at the moment.

In an exclusive update to CaughtOffside for his latest Daily Briefing column, Romano shared info into Dybala’s situation. Thus, noting that there are no concrete developments at the moment. Additionally, the 30-year-old’s release clause will be ending in a few days.

Romano shared what he thinks about the whole Dybala and Chelsea situation

Romano raised questions about whether Dybala is the type of player Chelsea currently requires. While the Blues are lacking in attacking quality, they may be in greater need of a prolific finisher rather than an all-rounder like Dybala.

Romano shared his thoughts: “Despite rumours about Chelsea, I see Dybala staying at Roma as things stand. I have no updates, there’s nothing happening as of now and his release clause will expire in four days..…so, it looks difficult and unlikely.”

“I think Chelsea need a striker more than a top quality all-round attacking player like Dybala.”

Now, only time will tell whether Chelsea will make a move to acquire Dybala or not.
