With just two more arrivals, Mauricio Pochettino has the opportunity to expedite his plan to revamp Chelsea. The club already experienced a bustling start to the summer transfer window. That is marked with the departures of several high-profile players and the acquisitions of numerous promising young talents.

N’Golo Kante took charge of the west Londoners’ mass departure. Since, he secured a lucrative pre-contract agreement in Saudi Arabia. Following him, Mateo Kovacic, Kai Havertz, and Mason Mount made their exit. Eventually, Kalidou Koulibaly and Edouard Mendy also joined the Frenchman in the Middle East.

AC Milan secured the signings of Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Christian Pulisic later on. Additionally, Ethan Ampadu made his move to Leeds United, and Cesar Azpilicueta returned to his homeland, joining Atletico Madrid on a free transfer. Laurence Stewart and Paul Winstanley played a significant role in streamlining the Blues’ bloated squad. Furthermore, they oversaw the arrival of four new players at the Cobham training ground.

What does Chelsea manager Pochettino plans to do?

Chelsea officially introduced Christopher Nkunku as their newest player, while also finalizing deals for Nicolas Jackson, Angelo Gabriel, and Diego Moreira. The new signings showcased their impressive talents during their debut against Wrexham. Hence, there is an anticipation of them to be valuable additions to Pochettino’s squad this season.

Yet, with the Argentine manager determined to achieve instant success at Stamford Bridge, the Blues find themselves in need of two more signings to bolster their competitiveness in the Premier League title race. Pochettino expressed his ambition in his initial interview as Chelsea’s manager, stating, “My target is to win, my aim is to win.”

Meanwhile other PL clubs like Manchester United and Liverpool are also working on revitalizing their squad similar to Chelsea. The two coveted signings under consideration are Moises Caicedo and Diogo Costa. Moises Caicedo has been the subject of intense speculation regarding a move to Stamford Bridge. Since, Chelsea aims to reinforce their midfield even further.
