Chelsea are going through a transformational phase this season. After appointing Mauricio Pochettino as their head coach, the blues are signing the best possible young talents from around the world. Moreover, some of these talents like Cole Palmer have just come up from the youth level. These youngsters are having an impressive first season under the Argentine coach. And it doesn’t stop here. As per the recent reports, Chelsea have agreed to sign Gabriel Moscardo from Corinthians. The 18 year old defensive midfielder has been a long term Target for the blues.

According to Chelseachronicle, Chelsea were targeting Gabriel Moscardo since the last summer. However, the transfer couldn’t happen at that time. Because of that scenario, the blues were more determined than before to get the Brazilian in their team. Moreover, as per the reports, Chelsea are facing tough competition from FC Barcelona in the pursuit of getting the Corinthians midfielder. The Spanish giants find the Brazilian youngster to be a perfect replacement for their legend Sergio Busquets. Given the fact that Moscardo is just 18, the competition to sign him is even more intense than it was expected.

Chelsea have agreed to add another future investment to their squad.

As we’ve seen in the case of Cole Palmer, the youngster is having a noticeable first season with the blues. Having 8 goal contributions in 12 matches across all competitions, the English youngster has a promising future at the Stamford Bridge.

This clearly signifies the fact that the youngsters are shining after joining the blues. Moreover, Mauricio Pochettino has a good of experimenting and bringing out the best in young talents. We’ve also seen the world cup winner Enzo Fernandez shine under his fellow countryman’s management. Therefore, Moscardo’s arrival will be beneficial both for the club as well as the player. Let’s hope that the Brazilian gets the same amount of recommendation as other young talents when he arrives at London.
