Trevoh Chalobah, the Chelsea defender could leave the club in the January transfer window. The 24 year old defender has been an integral part for the blues this season. However, the club’s performance is not noticeable this season. And that has affected the players as well. Chelsea signed several players like Mykhailo Mudryk, Kai Havertz, Christopher Nkunku in the past 2 seasons. They did all this in order to improve their situation in the league. But nothing worked. Moreover, the players who are capable of performing their best are also not performing according to their abilities. The best solution for this situation is to let the players leave. This would allow them to get regular playing time in another club. Post that, they can return once they’ve got enough experience of playing in high pressure matches.

According to caughtoffside, Trevoh Chalobah is one of those players who needs to leave to get regular playing time. The 24 year old was expected to leave at the start of the season. However, this didn’t worked out. Now the club is planning to offload him for around £35 million in the January transfer window. If that doesn’t happens, they’ll surely sell him by the end of the season.

Chelsea defender could leave in order to develop as a player.

Trevoh Chalobah can play as full back. He can also play as a central defender. But he needs to play on regular intervals to adapt to high pressure matches. Moreover, the 24 year old defender has the ability to become one of the most promising defenders in the league if he’s given the required playing time.

As per the reports, Crystal Palace are the club that are interested in Chalobah. They need a quality defender and Chalobah seems like a perfect fit for them. He could be a long term investment for the Eagles if this transfer becomes a reality.
