Chelsea and Roma agreement will make the Striker’s transfer easy.

Chelsea

Chelsea’s star striker Romelu Lukaku is having an amazing season with As Roma in Italy. The Belgian international has scored 19 goals in 14 games across all competitions for the Italian giants. Moreover, he’s having an outstanding international break as well. Lukaku netted a record breaking 4 goals against Azerbaijan in the Euro 2024 qualifiers. Because of his performance, Roma are now planning to permanently sign him from Chelsea. As per the reports, clauses in the Chelsea and Roma agreement will make it much easier for the striker to make a permanent move to Italy. However, nothing official has been out yet.

Fabrizio Romano, the world famous Italian journalist has spoken on the matter according to the information provided to him.

“What I know is that Roma are keen to sign Lukaku permanently. The player does have a release clause in his contract. But it’s not actually a release clause. It’s more like a gentleman’s agreement, wherein, the clubs and the agents of the player know where the stand.” -Fabrizio Romano said.

Why is Chelsea and Roma agreement important?

As per Chelseanews, last summer was a complicated period for Chelsea. They had to negotiate with Inter, Juventus and Roma over Lukaku’s situation. They don’t want that kind of situation to happen again. Moreover, it’s a high probability that the blues will make the Striker’s transfer more convenient to avoid any further complications. They are more likely to let Lukaku leave for €40 million and that price tag is for each and every club intrested in him.

Roma don’t want to let go of the striker and Chelsea don’t want to interfere in the player’s future. The blues have tried enough to get money out of the player and now they’ll let the player decide what are his future plans about his career.
