Bayern Munich is interested in £128m Barcelona midfielder and Azax chief gets sacked

Ilkay Gundogan Barcelona

Bayern Munich is interested in signing Barcelona star Pedri. The German club is ready to spend between $106m (£87m/€100m) and $128m (£104m/€120m) for Pedri, according to Fichajes.

Bayern Munich is interested to sign Pedri:

The report from Spain claims that Bayern is looking for a boost in its midfield during next summer’s transfer window. The Bundesliga giant still wants João Palhinha from Fulham as the deal collapsed on deadline day. However, Leon Goretzka’s performances look to be a cause for concern. Hence we may see Bayern to sign Pedri as a possible solution in this case.

Pedri is currently one of the best young midfielders. Moreover, he has a bright career ahead of him and his current stats both for the club and the Spanish national team are quite impressive. So Bayern will definitely target Pedri to bring him to the Allianz arena.

Ajax sacks director after abandonment of the Feyenoord game

Ajax has fired its director of football Sven Mislintat with immediate effect after the club’s game against Feyenoord was abandoned on Sunday.

They were without a single win in the 4 games they’ve played. If the match against Feyenoord wasn’t abandoned, they would have been facing another loss again as they were already 3-0 behind.

Shortly after the confirmation of the abandonment, Ajax released a statement to confirm it’s partition with Mislintat. The interim CEO Jan van Halst said:

Several attempts to restore broad support have not led to the desired outcome. This leads to unrest in and around the club, also due to the disappointing results.”Sven has put in tremendous effort for Ajax in recent months, for which we are grateful. It is now in Ajax’s best interest to move on with joined forces and find its way back to sporting success.”
