Bayern Munich are interested in signing Arsenal talent Takehiro Tomiyasu

Arsenal

Bayern Munich would love to sign Takehiro Tomiyasu from Arsenal during the January transfer window. But Arsenal are not willing to let the Japan international leave the club that easily. This is according to journalist Florian Plettenberg. He suggested that the German giants were admirers of the 25-year-old in the summer.

Takehiro Tomiyasu may not be a regular fixture in the Arsenal team. But he has been a very decent signing since. This is by making a £16 million move from Bologna.

Takehiro Tomiyasu could slot right in at Bayern

Mikel Arteta values Tomiyasu’s versatility. This is as he is able to play across the backline 4. But he has struggled with injury at times since moving to Arsenal. And it seems that he could be offered the chance to leave the club in the coming weeks.

Florian Plettenberg is now reporting that Bayern Munich are admirers of Tomiyasu. And they would love to bring him to Bavaria in the January window.

Arsenal are surely right to make sure that Tomiyasu goes nowhere now and he remains at Arsenal. Ultimately, he is not a regular starter at the Emirates. However, he is such a valuable player to have in the squad. This is particularly with Arsenal battling in the Champions League.

Mikel Arteta’s men are also back in the race for the Premier League title this season to take revenge for last season. So they are surely only going to sign players in the window. This is rather than let them go.

Certainly, if any player is going to leave, it is only going to be for very huge money. And it is hard to imagine Bayern Munich making a huge bid for Tomiyasu.
