According to reports, Barcelona is hoping to sign Robert Lewandowski of Bayern Munich, Bernardo Silva of Manchester City, and Jules Kounde of Sevilla before the summer transfer market closes.
Lewandowski has informed Bayern that, in the current market, he wants to leave Allianz Arena. Barcelona is still frequently mentioned in connection with the Poland international.
Kounde is also rumored to be looking to leave Sevilla. Chelsea are showing a lot of interest in the Frenchman. However, the defender is reportedly eager to join Camp Nou.
Bernardo Silva was not happy before the season started. However, Manchester City convinced him to stay. He was instrumental in winning the League. He wanted to relocate to Spain or Portugal.
Despite their financial difficulties, Barcelona is confident that they can sign all three players. This will be before the summer transfer window closes.
Twelve months before his contract at the Allianz Arena expires, Lewandowski is reportedly aiming to leave Bayern this summer. The lethal striker is reportedly desperate to move to Camp Nou.
However, if Barcelona is unable to raise the necessary finances to buy the 33-year-old. Many clubs such as Manchester United, Chelsea, and Paris Saint-Germain may all make a bid for him.
Barcelona looking at buying Bernardo Silva
In the 2021–22 season, Bernardo played a key role for Man City. He made 50 appearances across all leagues and provided 13 goals and seven assists.
Although the 27-year-old still has more than three years left on his contract at Etihad Stadium, he may try to leave the defending English champions in the present market for personal reasons. Last summer, Bernardo informed Manchester City that he intended to depart, but the Portugal international finally stayed and contributed significantly to their victory in 2021–22.
Jules Kounde has seen 44 appearances in all competitions and put in three goals and one assist. He was once again a key member of Sevilla’s team since 2017.
However, the 23-year-contract old’s at Estadio Ramon only has two years left. This means that he can leave the club and move elsewhere.
The Frenchman was reportedly determined to join Barcelona in the current transfer market. However, to prior reports that Chelsea were the center-top back’s choice.
Sevilla wants Kounde for €65 million (£55.8 million). Barcelona are trying to negotiate a price by incorporating players in a potential swap deal.
The Catalan team is likely to announce Andreas Christensen as a new addition soon, although defenders Sergino Dest, Oscar Mingueza, Clement Lenglet, and Samuel Umtiti might all leave before the start of the following season.
