Gunners are pushing to sign Forward Ansu Fati of Barcelona.
Ansu Fati , once considered as Lionel Messi’s heir has struggled to live up to the expectation. According to Football Transfers , the gunners are trying to take the wonderkid from Camp Nou . If the deal happens that could be a huge move for Ansu’s career considering the youth development system of Arsenal.
Why Barcelona and Ansu both want this deal to happen?
Ansu’s opportunity to shine :
The young sensation Lamine Yamal has been the main man since his joining. He has been playing so good that he receives a call from the Spain National Team . Ferran Torres is also playing really well. Once being called as the next Messi, the young Spaniard has struggled to keep up to that expectation and the price tag. As a result he has only seen twice in Xavi’s line-up during the opening matches in this season.
The young Spaniard has 4 years left on his contract but due to lack of gametime and past 12 month’s performance of Arsenal under Mikel , he is surely thinking about a potential move over to the Emirates in the Premier League.
Barcelona’s need :
The club needs reinforcement in the midfield and their defence. But in order to register the new players the club need to sell some of the big names to balance the wages . And the young star’s departure would enable Ilkay Gundogan to be brought in .
The Gunners are determined to sign Ansu
Arsenal are in the market in search of a new striker since their main attacker Gabriel Jesus has injured. The gunners are in advanced talks with Barcelona. Barca are open to sending Ansu on loan if Arsenal can cover his wages £199,000 per week (SalarySport). Otherwise the Gunners have to pay £50 million to keep the player permanently in Emirates.
The Spaniard should leave Blaugrana , as he can improve so much under Mikel Arteta. Arsenal’s youth system is brilliant considering the fact that they had developed Saka , Odegard , Saliba etc. Ansu is not getting enough minutes and the fact that his hype in the culers has decreased over the past seasons creates a huge opportunity for him to leave the club this summer.
