Arsenal target Moises Caicedo is considered as a dirty player

Arsenal Team

Arsenal target Moises Caicedo is a highly sought-after midfielder in the Premier League. He has reportedly reached an agreement on personal terms with Arsenal for a potential summer transfer.

Despite failing to secure a move to Arsenal in the previous summer. The Ecuadorian international has continued to deliver impressive performances for Brighton.

Moises Caicedo and his rumoured move to Arsenal

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has already planned where he wants to play Brighton and Hove Albion midfielder Caicedo. The report has claimed that Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta wants to play Caicedo in an inverted full-back role.

Arsenal are now in ‘pole position’ to sign Brighton and Hove Albion midfielder Caicedo, according to reports. The Gunners saw two huge bids rejected for Caicedo in January. With the second offer thought to be worth up to £70 million.

However, a new report from Birmingham World highlights Caicedo’s disciplinary record. This is ranking him as the second dirtiest player in the Premier League. In the last campaign, he accumulated ten yellow cards from committing 65 fouls. That puts him in the same category as Joelinton from Newcastle United.

If Caicedo were to join Arsenal, his presence in the midfield would add significant physicality and robustness to the team’s playing style. He would certainly give us the tough physical presence we need in midfield. With Rice too we would have a much more competitive midfield which Arsenal have been missing for years.

Should this potential new man have an impact anywhere near that of Zinchenko in his debut year in north London. However, he could well be the catalyst for further progress under this stunning regime. Caicedo and Rice seem to be the main players they are after. Although, it looks like a revolution will take place in the midfield of Arsenal this season.
