Reiss Nelson, the Arsenal star denies his January transfer exit rumors. The 24 year old has clearly said that his heart belongs to London. Moreover, Mikel Arteta gave him close to 90 minutes of playing time against PSV Eindhoven in their champions league matchup last night. The player believes that he’s made for Arsenal. He wants to stay at the Emirates Stadium for as long as possible. However, Manager Mikel Arteta has other plans. The Spaniard has sent a clear message by giving him less playing time in premier league this season that Nelson isn’t in his future plans. Nelson is in mid twenties now and is on his way of becoming a senior player. He should not prioritise regular playing time over anything else.

According to expressuk, Reiss Nelson has only made 6 appearances for Arsenal this season. Moreover, all of those appearances have come up as a substitute. Nelson has only played about 62 minutes throughout the season this time. To be more precise, the manager isn’t paying attention to him. His only starts this season are in the Carabao Cup and in the match against PSV Eindhoven last night in the champions league matchup.

Arsenal star denies his departure news but he should leave in order to develop himself.

Reiss Nelson was on a loan spell at Feyenoord last season. There, he scored 2 goals and made 4 assists in 21 appearances. He became an important part of their team. Now there are rumors that Feyenoord are interested in making a permanent offer to the English player. Reiss Nelson should accept the offer if the rumors are true. At this stage of his career, all that he needs is regular playing time. That’ll allow him to develop as a player. Furthermore, he can take risks and make mistakes at the Netherlands because he’s already played for Feyenoord there.
