Arsenal Sporting Director Edu has praised winger Bukayo Saka for his performance against Erik ten Hag’s Manchester united on Sunday.

Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal got the better of Erik ten Hag’s Manchester United

3-1 at home in the league this past weekend.

Bukayo Saka started the match for the Gunners.

The 21-year-old England international provided the assist for Declan Rice’s goal in the sixth minute of injury time.

Edu praise for Arsenal star Bukayo Saka vs Manchester United

Saka has taken to Instagram to express his delight at the win for Arsenal.

And the Gunners’ Sporting Director Edu has responded to it, as you can see below.

We do not think that Bukayo Saka was at his best against Manchester United, but the Arsenal winger did play his role in the win.

The 21-year-old gave his all against the Red Devils and was a problem for the United defence throughout his time on the pitch.

And he got an assist.

Saka could have scored a goal himself, and perhaps he was lucky not to be more severely punished for a tackle on United attacking midfielder Bruno Fernandes.

We have seen Saka play better than he did against United.

While he was not poor against Erik ten Hag’s side, Saka was not at the top of his game either.

But, it is just the start of the season.

And Saka is only 21.

The Arsenal no. 7 has scored two goals and given one assist in four Premier League appearances so far this season.

Fabio Vieira is also the who got praised by Arteta after sunday’s game against Manchester united.

Vieira won a penalty and registered an assist during last week’s draw against Fulham and the Portugal Under-21 international

He also set up Jesus’ goal on Sunday afternoon. After the full-time whistle, Arteta hailed the former Porto man, claiming that he has matured since his debut campaign last year.
