Arsenal clear out plan begins, New signings coming soon

Arsenal

The clear out plan at Arsenal has already begun and New signings could follow soon. Arsenal are ready to let 12 players leave the club in a brutal summer clearout. The Gunners are willing to listen to offers for five players. These 5 are who were at the club during the 2022-23 campaign, as well as seven who were out on loan.

What is the Arsenal plan and who all are the New signings we could expect

Two summer deals have already been agreed which is part of the plan. Granit Xhaka and Pablo Mari primed to join Bayer Leverkusen and Monza in respective permanent deals. Arsenal will make around €22 million from those 2 players. Meanwhile, Kieran Tierney is inching closer to a Gunners exit. This is after a season on the fringes under Mikel Arteta. Arteta prefers a player who could play the inverted role well but Tierney isn’t that sort of player. Tierney is an old fashioned good quality left back.

A well-placed source has revealed that Folarin Balogun will be allowed to find a new club in the summer window. This is despite his successful loan at Stade de Reims – where he netted 22 goals.

Left-back Nuno Tavares and winger Nicolas Pepe were also on loan in Ligue 1. They have had disciplinary issues before at Arsenal. Albert Sambi Lokonga and Cedric Soares had loans at Crystal Palace and Fulham respectively. This time they will be part of the clearout at the Emirates Stadium.

Arsenal are now in ‘pole position’ to sign Brighton and Hove Albion midfielder Moises Caicedo, according to reports. The Gunners saw two huge bids rejected for Caicedo in January. With the second offer thought to be worth up to £70 million. Declan Rice could also be a new signing incoming at Arsenal as he wants to play Champions League football.
