ARSENAL DEFENDER IS IN POSITIVE TALKS FOR A CONTRACT EXTENSION
According to Sky Sports, Arsenal are in positive talks with the agent of William Saliba for his contract extension. The news also comes after reports linking him to a move away from the club. A report also claims that his agent continues to demand a very high wage to match his squad status from the next season.
However, Arsenal at the moment are not prepared to match the demands. Although, the current report clarifies that both parties are working hard to find an agreement. Hence, positive talks are happening between the Gunners and the agent of William Saliba. William Saliba himself is very happy at the club with his game time before a back injury ruled him out for the last matches of the season.
PSG CONTINUE TO MONITOR THE SITUATION OF WILLIAM SALIBA
According to reports, PSG continue to monitor the situation of the Arsenal defender. They continue to have long-term interest in Saliba. However, the Gunners want Saliba to sign the contract extension. He is one of the players that the Gunners hope build their squad around in the present and future.
