Christian Pulisic, a Chelsea winger, is being rumoured with a move to AC Milan this summer, with both clubs currently negotiating a contract. AC Milan are presently negotiating a permanent move for troubled Chelsea attacker Christian Pulisic, according to Fabrizio Romano. The Serie A club hopes to sign the USMNT international for roughly €25 million. However, no agreement has been reached between the two teams.

AC Milan might bring in Chelsea winger Pulisic this summer

Pulisic is reportedly interested in joining AC Milan. The 24-year-old American international has been battling for consistent game time at Stamford Bridge. He started for just eight Premier League matches last season. At this point in his career, Pulisic requires regular playing time. As a result, a departure from Chelsea would be great for him.

The dynamic winger is admired around Europe, and he has a bright future ahead of him. He is still only 24, so he has lots of time to finish his development and reach his full potential. During his time at Borussia Dortmund, the USMNT international was regarded as a world-class prospect. In addition he has showed flashes of his immense quality at Chelsea since his €64 million arrival.

Pulisic will try to relaunch his career with a move to Italy. Hence AC Milan can give him with the platform to do so on a regular basis. The Serie A heavyweights need to improve their offensive, and a signing him would be an excellent long-term investment.

AC Milan wants to seal the deal under €25 million

Fabrizio Romano says: “AC Milan are in talks with Chelsea about signing Christian Pulisic, following the completion of the Loftus Cheek trade. Two distinct transactions and talks. Milan wants to pay less than the asking price of €25 million, the player wants to transfer, but there is no agreement between the teams yet.”

Signing a player of his calibre for €25 million might turn out to be an act of a real bargain. The player was originally estimated to be worth €30-35 million. Chelsea have already signed a lot of players in recent summer to enhance their offensive options. Thus Pulisic is unlikely to play regularly at Stamford Bridge next season.

Both parties ought to part their separate ways this summer. Furthermore, after spending significant sums on new arrivals in the last two transfer windows, Chelsea will need to recover a certain amount through sales. They will have to balance the books with sales in order to stay in compliance with the Financial Fair Play standards.

After the transfer of Sandro Tonali to Newcastle United, AC Milan will have a significant amount of money to spend this summer. It remains to be seen if they will be able to close the deal.
