Arsenal goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale receives comparison as his side defeated Brentford on Saturday. Arsenal got all the 3 points at the Gtech community stadium by defeating the hosts 1-0. Thanks to the 89th minute goal by Kai Havertz, the gunners are now the league toppers. Furthermore, Arsenal have got the confidence they need to perform well in the upcoming matches. Because of this win, the team is confident enough to perform well in the next champions league match against Rc Lens.

Although the team won their match, their goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale displayed somewhat of a mixed performance. Knowing that Ramsdale was exceptional against Brentford in the Carabao Cup previously this season, Mikel Arteta once again gave him a start. However, there were 2 instances in the match when Arsenal could’ve conceded due to Ramsdale’s error. Fortunately, one of them was saved by the goal line block from this year’s signing Declan Rice. Despite the errors, Arsenal were able to get the better of the Bees, clutching all the 3 points on their way back home.

Aaron Ramsdale receives comparison from the former premier league goalkeeper Mark Bosnich.

According to footballlondon, Mark Bosnich has put forward his statement about Aaron Ramsdale and David Raya amidst Arsenal’s keeper dilemma.

” Speaking about the whole match? I think the keeper did his job well. However, there was a situation in the first half when his error could’ve cost them a goal. Basically Ramsdale is trying to copy what David Raya does when he’s in the goal. It’s more like, that Ramsdale thinks he must be playing the way Raya playes in order to become a first choice keeper for the coach. But I’m happy that Arsenal were able to keep the clean sheet. The team is playing very good football and are currently the top contenders for the title. It’ll be interesting to see who Mikel Arteta starts in thier upcoming champions league match against Rc Lens.” – Mark Bosnich said.
