“Worrying”- Gary Neville concerned over Manchester United’s transfer activity

Manchester United

Former Manchester United star Gary Neville has been concerned over the lack of transfer activity by the club.

The new Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag has plans for the forthcoming season with a couple of names in mind for transfers. However, the gaffer has not yet made any reinforcements this summer.

Local rivals Manchester City have already signed Erling Haaland and Julian Alvarez and are linked with a few players. While Liverpool too have made a big signing with Darwin Nunez joining the Anfield this summer.

Midst of the transfers, Gary Neville has issued a warning with the concerns of no activity in the United camp. He took to Twitter and wrote-

Late signings for Manchester United?

The Red Devils boss ten Hag’s request to sign Barcelona’s Frenkie de Jong has been up in the air for quite a while. The club’s initial offer was deemed to be ridiculous by the Catalan giants and was rejected. It appears as though the club will make an improved offer for the midfielder in the coming days.

Moreover, ten Hag will look to make signings possible in the coming weeks as there are layers to the transfer. His potential targets could possibly join him at the Old Trafford and build a competitive team with their inclusion.

But fans and football pundits seem increasingly restless as United have not made any additions to their squad. That said, it is sure that the club will go into the next season with a new team. While the signings are yet to happen, De Jong, Jurrien Timber, and Christian Eriksen are all linked with the club.

With a squad overhaul happening at Manchester United, surely new players will be signed to fill the void. It is only a matter of time before the club announces the arrivals of players linked with the club.
