West Ham working on deal to sign Eintracht Frankfurt striker

Flamengo is not in touch

West Ham United are working on a deal to sign Bundesliga side Eintracht Frankfurt striker Filip Kostic in the transfer window.

After snapping up the likes of Gianluca Scamacca the Hammers are in pole position to sign Filip Kostic this summer. Moreover, the striker is keen to leave the Bundesliga outfit and considering joining West Ham for the next season.

David Moyes is looking to add a lethal attacker upfront in his squad and believes Kostic can be his man. The hammers are pushing for this move and want the striker to join the London Stadium this coming season.

Kostic close to joining West Ham

The striker is represented by the same agent that represents Scamacca who the hammers have already dealt with this summer. Sources close to the agent believe that Kostic is very close to joining the Hammers this transfer window.

According to Sky Sports transfer reporter Dharmesh Sheth, the striker will consider a move to West ham if a deal is agreed. He said-

“West Ham United still working on deal to sign Filip Kostic,”

“Bid worth €15m (£12.3m) rejected by Eintracht Frankfurt. Valuation thought to be closer to €20m (£17m).

“Kostic already rejected two offers from clubs in CL. Kostic will consider West Ham if deal agreed.”

Moreover, Kostic even turned down approaches from two Champions League playing teams in the transfer window earlier this summer. The striker only wants to listen to offers from the Hammers and will only move if an agreement is reached.

Kostic wants to weigh up his options well before making the final decision and wants it to match his profile. There will be developments in the coming days regarding a potential exit for the striker to the Hammers.
